Level Up Guitar School is under no obligation to reschedule a lesson that you miss due to your own reasons, regardless of the circumstances if you do not give 48 hours of notice for your child’s absence.

If your child is a Hero Member and misses two lessons due to your own scheduling, you will receive only 1 make-up credit. If a Teacher is absent and your child misses two lessons, they will receive 2 make-up credits.
HOWEVER...
If your child ever misses a class due to your own reasons:
1. You can continue to work through your lesson content on your Guitar Dojo Online account.
2. Film your child playing any pieces or asking any questions about their current lesson material and send it to us via Whatsapp or through the Level Up Guitar School Facebook Page
3. The teacher can then reply via Whatsapp or Facebook Business Messenger, with advice and any exercises that will help your child overcome any challenges they're having with their pieces.
Refunds will not be given for unused credits, nor can you "pause payments for a month to catch up" should you have missed a large number of sessions.
TEACHER ABSENCE
If a Level Up Guitar teacher is unable to teach your child during their reserved lesson time, make-up lesson credits will be given and allowed to carry over beyond the 30-day period.

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS, PUBLIC HOLIDAYS & THE SUMMER PROGRAM
Level Up Guitar School will be closed on all public holidays. In the event of your lesson falling on a public holiday, you will be given a lesson credit which you can use towards a different session during that week or month, or simply come another day of the week.
Level Up Guitar School will remain open during the Term 1, Term 2, and Term 3 QLD school holidays. During these school holidays, we run Guitar Quests Online: Holiday Edition for all students. All students of all membership types will be granted access to an Online portal over the 2-week holiday period. Within this portal, students have access to a huge library of songs. Just like the weekly Guitar Quests sessions, students create their avatars, complete songs, earn badges and win prizes. Check your Annual Calendar for specific dates each year. The membership direct debit does not pause over these 2-week School holiday breaks.
At the end of Week 10 of Term 4, (normally around the 9th of December), all students gets one month off from lessons for the Christmas Break. 1 Month of the Membership payment will be waived to accommodate this time off from lessons.
2 weeks before the start of Term 1, 2023 (9th of January start), all students will take part in Guitar Quests Online: Holiday Edition and then we will start regular lessons in Week 1 of the School Term (23rd of January, 2023).
During this whole holiday period, you can continue learning online via the Guitar Dojo Online platform.
The Summer Holiday Correspondence Program is part of your lesson program and you are not allowed to suspend or cancel your membership over this period.
DISCONTINUATION & CHANGES TO YOUR LESSON PLAN
As a small guitar school, we aim to be completely approachable when it comes to difficulties you might be experiencing with lessons. If your child is struggling, or you have concerns, we really do want to help! Please first consider coming to us with questions, so we can find a suitable solution.

SMS, Phone Calls, Emails, or Written Letters will not be accepted in place of the required form. Any payments falling in this 30-day period will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis.
If you wish to temporarily suspend your membership, then you need to complete a Membership Freeze Form. Your payments will resume on the 15th day of the month preceding your listed return date.
If you wish to change your lesson program, you need to visit the web page again and re-complete the submission form at the bottom of the page with your new membership type selected.

Explanation of each Lesson Type
Please read through the explanations of each lesson type before you choose your desired membership tier.
Level Up Sessions are the regular weekly lessons that you are used to. This is where you learn new, awesome skills on the guitar. We’ll make sure you understand certain guitar techniques, how to play them and how to incorporate them into your regular guitar playing.
Our students go crazy for these Guitar Quests sessions! These sessions focus on completing songs. Students build an extensive list of songs every week that they can show off at all times for friends and family. Students complete challenges and collect badges while learning their favourite songs from their favourite artists! Remember, these sessions are happening every day and will occur either in the time slot before or after your regular, weekly Level Up sessions. Therefore, you do not need to come to lessons twice a week to do the Skill Builder sessions. (ONLY AVAILABLE FOR HERO MEMBERS)
In our Monthly Guitar Club, we host fun, in-depth, creative workshops and parties that help to unleash your child’s creativity! Sometimes we just don’t have time during our regular lessons to record a song or teach students how to use Guitar pedals to create a killer ACDC guitar tone. These workshops are so much fun and inspire our students to create musical projects that excite them.
Games on Guitar Workshop - Learning video game theme songs on the guitar (ONLY AVAILABLE FOR HERO MEMBERS)
Movie Theme Workshop - Learn your favourite movie theme songs (Harry Potter, Avengers, Star Wars, James Bond, and many more) (ONLY AVAILABLE FOR HERO MEMBERS)
Guitar Pedal Workshop for all ‘Hero’ members where students create their own unique sounds using electronic guitar pedals.
